Anyae Johnson - Ballet/Jazz instructor
Anye born and raised in Philadelphia, Anyae’ currently attends Academy at Palumbo High School. She developed the love of dance at a very young age. Anyae’ has been a part of Precision & Pride Dance Company since the age of eight. Training and teaching in various styles such as ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, tap, hip hop, and modern dance. Anyae’ has traveled extensively competing against other dance programs. She has won first place in several group competitions across the United States. Anyae’ continues to excel academically. She also volunteers her time helping a Pennsylvania and Delaware non-profit organization, Amongst Men Inc. Mentoring Services. Her aspiration is to teach her students everything she learned and more - hoping that, they too will develop a passion for dance, leadership and education.
RaGina McKissick Adult / Kids Hip Hop & Fitness instructor
RaGina was born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan. She graduated from Michigan State University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Relations & Policy with a Concentration in Spanish. In 2013, RaGina moved to the Tri-State area to attend the University of Pennsylvania for graduate school where she earned a Masters degree in Social Work and a Certificate in the Study of Law. RaGina graduated in May 2015 and since then, works for the Defender Association of Philadelphia as a Child Advocate Social Worker.
RaGina has been a dancer since the age of 7. She began her dance career as a liturgical/lyrical dancer in the categories of Mime, Praise Dance and Dance Worship. In RaGina's late teenage years, she also began to pursue other dance genres such as lyrical Hip-Hop and standard Hip-Hop. While in undergrad at Michigan State University, RaGina danced on the "Hype 4 Christ" dance team which had a lyrical and Hip-Hop focus. RaGina is a teacher and choreographer in the genres of Hip-Hop, African fusion, Latin fusion, and several categories of liturgical dance. In 2013, RaGina began teaching Dance Fitness and became an independent contractor teaching at schools, community centers, childcare centers, churches, dance studios, and in the homes of private clients. RaGina's dance fitness classes are pure cardio FUN!! Class routines are diverse in the areas of aerobics, old school hip-hop, today's hip-hop, Latin fusion, and African fusion.
RaGina's "Dance Philosophy" is, "Dance allows you to express yourself when words just aren't enough. Dance is taking music and/or lyrics and bringing them to life. Dance is the one form of communication that transcends race, gender, ethnicity, sexuality, and age. JUST DANCE!!"
William was born in Frankfurt, Germany and raised in Beaufort, South Carolina. He graduated from Bethune Cookman University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Psychology in 2012. William attended college on a music scholarship where he played the trumpet in the marching and concert bands. William began his dance training in Atlanta, Ga with the Atlanta Dance Connection under the direction of Allyne Gartrell in 2013. William has studied at programs such as Dallas Black Dance Theatre Summer Intensive, Jennifer Archibald ARCHCORE40 NYC, Breaking Barriers, and Philadanco Summer Training Program. William has studied with artists and choreographers such as Dudley Williams, Milton Myers, Dianne Maroney Grigsby, and Baba Chuck Davis. He has performed in productions such as Dance Africa, Bravo's: Married to Medicine, Candice Glover: Music Speaks Tour, and the 2013 & 2014 IABD Conferences. leadership and education
Nataly Morales has been dancing her whole life. She began her dance training at Wissahickon Dance Academy and Creative and Performing Arts High School of Philadelphia where she studied ballet and modern dance. She has had the opportunity to study and perform with renowned institutions such Ballet Hispanico in New York City and Donetsk Ballet of Ukraine. She continued her dance education at Goucher College in Baltimore, MD where she received her BA in Dance with a performance scholarship. She most recently received an MFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from Mills College in Oakland, CA. She had received an Outstanding Choreography Award from Mills College and her work has been commissioned from other University dance programs. She has had the privilege to perform works by Molissa Fenley, Holley Farmer, and Shinichi Iova-Koga, and Heather Stockton. Before moving back to Philadelphia, Nataly was a member of dNaga Dance Company, Mills Repertory Company and WaxPoet(s) Dance Collective where she performed professionally for two years. She is currently a member of Alchemy Dance Company in Philadelphia and has performed with the company for two years. She has been teaching dance for ten years both in Philadelphia and in California. She has won many choreography awards from various competitions and her work has been featured in the Koresh Dance Showcases. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge of dance with her students.
